3rd Edition of The Amara Raja Better Way Awards Launched
These honours are designed to acknowledge and nurture exceptional individuals and entities who have made a remarkable difference to rural communities with innovative entrepreneurship
Hyderabad: The Amara Raja Group, a $2 billion global conglomerate, has announced the unveiling of the third edition of 'The Amara Raja Better Way Awards'.
These honours are designed to acknowledge and nurture exceptional individuals and entities who have made a remarkable difference to rural communities with innovative entrepreneurship.
Crafted to specifically support individuals and entities from rural areas across the nation, 'The Amara Raja Better Way Awards' resonate with the Group's enduring purpose of ‘providing better access to better opportunities to more and more people’. The three categories with Rs.3 lakh each prize money are: Amara Raja Better Way Award for Women Employment, Amara Raja Better Way Award for Rural Income Generation and Amara Raja Better Way Award for Best Agri-Based Business.
In comparison to their urban counterparts, rural entrepreneurs often grapple with obstacles that demand support and encouragement from all segments of society. Over 85 per cent of them are first generation entrepreneurs, many of whom face barriers in realizing their innovative ideas due to resource constraints and a lack of guidance. These entrepreneurs not only display ingenuity but also play an indispensable role in driving economic growth, job creation, and community advancement.
Application form is available on the group’s website https://www.amararaja.com/better-way-awards/ and the deadline for submissions is set for November 20, 2025.
A panel of esteemed experts will assess the entities based on their social and community impact, as well as their contribution to local employment opportunities. In addition to a substantial cash prize of Rs.3 lakh, award winners will receive ongoing support and guidance to help them continue their trajectory of success.
