The US Embassy in India has issued a public alert that the length of time an international visitor can stay in the United States is determined by the US Customs and Border Protection officer upon arrival in the country. The expiration date mentioned in the visa is invalid in this aspect, they have clarified.
The embassy further clarified that those who want to know how long they are allowed to stay in the US can check their I-94 Admit Until Date at https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov.
