Vishnu Deo Sai's 2-Nation Visit Paves Way for Global Partnership for Chhattisgarh
The chief minister’s interaction with senior representatives of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), global tech giant NTT Limited explored avenues in IT and advanced technology solutions for the state.
Raipur: Chhattisgarh chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday said his eight-day visit to Japan and South Korea has put the state firmly on the global investment map.
Mr. Sai who arrived here on Saturday afternoon after his two-nation tour said, far from being just a diplomatic outreach, the visit has laid the foundation for a future-oriented, innovation-driven investment focused on technology, employment, and international cooperation.
“With strategic meetings, high-level discussions, and significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in the pipeline, the trip is being hailed as a landmark initiative to project Chhattisgarh on the global industrial map”, a spokesman of the Chhattisgarh government said while summing up the two-nation visit by Mr. Sai.
According to the spokesman, In Japan, the chief minister secured significant investment interest.
Osaka-based Sartaj Foods has committed to investing around Rs 100 crore to set up a food processing unit in Chhattisgarh.
Another key meeting was held with Morabu Hanshin Company, focusing on workforce training and skill exchange, a move that promises global career pathways for local youth.

These discussions are expected to catalyze the development of data centers, digital hubs, and skill-based employment in Chhattisgarh in near future, the chief minister said.
During his visit to South Korea, Mr. Sai held discussions with the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Asia’s largest business organization with over 77,000 members.
The talks focused on investment, technology transfer, and skill development under the newly unveiled Chhattisgarh Industrial Policy 2024-30.
In Seoul, Mr. Sai met with Lee Jae Jung, chairman of the Advanced Technology Center Association (ATCA), a network representing over 60 major companies in the sectors like IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharma and textiles.
