Vijayawada: In a setback to the TDP at the time of Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the state, the party’s senior leader Yanamala Krishnudu has joined YSRCP in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday. He is the younger brother of former minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.

Along with Krishnudu, TD leaders P. Seshagiri Rao, P. Harikrishna and L. Bhaskar also joined the YSRC. Speaking on the occasion, Yanamala Krishnudu underlined that Telugu Desam has given tickets only to those who have money or are NRIs. The TD leadership has cheated those who have been with the party right from the beginning.

Quoting his own case, Krishnudu said despite being in Telugu Desam for 42 years, he did not get a proper position in the party because of TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and Yanamala Ramakrishnudu. “They (Naidu and Ramakrishnudu) have not given me a ticket. They have insulted me badly,” Krishnudu remarked.

He said he will work hard for making Jagan Mohan Reddy the Chief Minister one again, apart from ensuring wins of Chalamalasetty Sunil as Kakinada MP and Dadisetti Raja as Tuni MLA. Both Dadisetti and Sunil were present on the occasion.
