Hyderabad: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat declared that the Sangh remains fundamentally unchanged, gradually manifesting and evolving in diverse new forms like a seed transforming into a tree, countering public perceptions of alteration. He emphasised that while some people feel the Sangh is changing, its continuity reflects natural growth as it adapts to new forms.
Bhagwat made these remarks at the Sangh Office, Keshav Kunj, in Delhi, during the launch of two songs for the upcoming film 100 Years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh – Shatak. He equated RSS directly with its founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, whose psychology he described as a profound subject for research due to extraordinary resilience. Hedgewar lost both parents within an hour at the age of 11, yet displayed no emotional scars or disruption, embodying “Bharat first” through deep patriotism, unity‑building, and composure amid life’s challenges, Bhagwat said.
Two songs from the film — Bharat Maa Ke Bachche and Bhagwa Hai Meri Pehchaan — sung by Sukhwinder Singh, were released at the event. The film, which explores untold stories and roots of the RSS, is being released in the context of the organisation’s centenary celebrations. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini member Bhaiyyaji Joshi also attended the programme.
