Reports have come in that Raihan Vadra, son of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Robert Vadra, proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Aviva Baig. The couple has been in a relationship for around seven years.
According to news reports, Raihan (25) is said to have proposed to Aviva in a private moment with both families present, and an engagement ceremony is expected to take place in Ranthambore, Rajasthan, followed by New Year celebrations
Getting into details, Raihan Vadra studied at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London for higher education in politics. He has largely remained away from the political spotlight and is more towards the creative side. An established visual artist and photographer, photography has been Raihan's childhood passion, encouraged by his mother, Priyanka. His grandfather, former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, also loved photography, and Raihan has a keen interest in his grandfather’s works.
Aviva Baig has a degree in Media Communication and Journalism from OP Jindal Global University. She is a Delhi-based photographer, interior designer, and former national-level football player. She is the co-founder of Atelier 11, a photography studio and production company.
Aviva Baig and her family are based in Delhi. Her father, Imran Baig, is a businessman, and mother Nandita Baig, is an interior designer. The families have been close for many years, with Aviva’s mother, Nandita Baig, being a longtime friend of Priyanka Gandhi and reportedly helped design the interior of the Congress headquarters.
