BJP Post On Rahul Gandhi In Flight Video Of Vietnam Trip Goes Viral

BJP mocks at Rahul Gandhi's Vietnam Trip

The BJP mocked at Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi over his Vietnam trip, even as the Congress-led anti-SIR protests are still underway across the country.

On its official account, the BJP shared a video purportedly showing Rahul Gandhi sitting in a business-class cabin and accused him of taking a break from "spreading lies".

In the post, the BJP wrote: “I'm tired of spreading lies... Let me go roam around Vietnam for a few days... Who would even find out!”

Responding to the mockery, the Congress defended Rahul Gandhi stating that he could visit any plae during this personal time. Along with his responsibilities, Gandhi also has a personal life. Gandhi made productive use of his visits to foreign countries, Congress said.

The BJP's criticism comes while the opposition continues its campaign against the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.

Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit wondered why Gandhi's overseas visits were being singled out and slammed. He interacts with Yale University students, meets students in London and engages with intellectuals too there.

At the same time, Dikshit also referred to PM Narendra Modi's abroad travel during Parliamentary sessions. "There is a tradition that the PM does not travel abroad when the Lok Sabha is in session but our PM does not follow that. Why does no one question about that?," Dikshit asked.
