Nellore: The NDA alliance has stepped up preparations for the upcoming Atmakur municipal elections, with endowments minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy holding a key meeting with alliance observers in Nellore on Sunday to chalk out an election strategy aimed at securing a decisive victory.
The meeting, held at the minister's residence, focused on the ward-wise political situation, selection of candidates, electoral prospects and coordination among leaders and cadres of the TD, Jana Sena and BJP.
Anam discussed with the observers the need for a strong grassroots strategy and greater coordination among the three alliance partners.
The leaders also deliberated on taking the coalition government’s development and welfare programmes to voters effectively.
