Hyderabad: Two more municipalities held by ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) are facing no-confidence motions from own party councillors.

BRS councillors in Adibatla municipality and Nirmal municipality raised a
banner of revolt on Monday against their own party's chairpersons and
decided to move no-confidence motion against them.

In Adibatla municipality, out of 15 BRS councillors, 13 signed no confidence
motion against chairperson Kotha Arthika and submitted to district collector
seeking approval. In Nirmal municipality, BRS councillors signed no
confidence motion against chairperson G.Eshwar. Following this, the party
leadership deputed ministers of respective districts and MLAs of respective
constituencies to hold talks with rebels and pacify them to withdraw
nominations. Endowments minister A.Indrakaran Reddy rushed to Nirmal to
quell the dissent in party.
