Tough fight in two Khammam segments

Khammam: A tough fight is on the cards in Khammam and Palair Assembly constituencies where top BRS and Congress leaders are pitted against one another.

Thursday’s polling trends reportedly indicate a tough fight among Tummala Nageswara Rao (Congress), Puvvada Ajay (BRS) and Ramakrishna of Janasena in Khammam. Rao and Ajay are both from the Kamma community.    

Srinivas Reddy of Congress, Kandala Upender Reddy (BRS) are in a neck-and-neck race in Palair, where Nunna Ravi Kumar of the BJP is also in the fray.

News is that Congress leaders are confident of winning more than eight seats in Khammam district.
