Lightning kills 3 in Visakhapatnam

Vishakapatnam: A ten-year-old boy as also two others were killed and four others injured when lightning struck at three different places on Sunday.

A 10-year-old boy, Killo Suri, died and his parents suffered injuries when they were struck by lightning at Bayaluguda village under Dumbriguda mandal in ASR district. The injured were shifted to the government hospital at Araku Valley.

In another incident, a man died and his wife suffered injuries at Pothavanipalem under S Kota Mandal in Vizianagaram. Similarly, 38-year-old M Ramana died at Gowripatnam under Chodavaram Mandal in Anakapalle district.
