Vijayawada: Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh claimed on Sunday that the people are up-in-arms against Chandrababu Naidu and Telugu Desam. “The BCs, SCs, STs and minorities are united against the TD in all the assembly constituencies,” he said.

Addressing the media here, Ramesh challenged JS leader Pawan Kalyan to contest all the 175 assembly seats if he believed there was an anti-incumbency mood against the YSRC government.

“Despite being CM for 14 years and 45 years as a politician, Chandrababu Naidu did not do anything for the people and used BCs as a vote bank and slaves. Within three years of coming to power, Jagan Reddy has ensured that all the eligible are getting benefits of welfare schemes. He is reaching welfare and development to every village,” he said.

Ramesh noted that in the 2019 elections, the TD won only 23 assembly seats. The coming election will see the end of Chandrababu’s political career, he said.

He said the TD leaders themselves do not  believe in Chandrababu and recalled that TD state president Atchannaidu had said, it’s all over, no party, nothing; ‘Party ledu Bokka ledu’. “Naidu is relying on three vernacular media establishments and Pawan Kalyan is parroting Chandrababu’s screenplay under the direction of Nadendla Manohar.”

He said there was no difference between KA Paul and Pawan Kalyan as both did not win their own seats in AP. “Pawan is now as Pawan Kalyan Paul.”
