Vijayawada: Cricketer Ambati Tirupati Rayudu joined the YSRC in the presence of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the camp office here on Thursday. A video of the programme was shared on the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of the YSRC.

“Famous Indian cricketer Ambati Tirupati Rayudu joined the YSR Congress in the presence of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan at the camp office. Deputy CM K. Narayana Swamy and MP Peddireddy Mithun Reddy participated in this programme,” the tweet by YSRC read.

It was speculated that the former cricketer would contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from either Guntur or Machilipatnam parliamentary constituency in Andhra Pradesh, but Rayudu denied the claims. As he has officially joined the YSRC, the political circles are hot with the expectations of Rayudu’s
