Pawan working for Naidu, not public welfare: Nani

Vijayawada: Former minister and YSRC MLA Perni Venkataramaiah alias Nani lashed out at Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan saying the latter is a weekend politician working for the interests of former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and deceiving his own party leaders, cadres and fans.

Addressing media here on Sunday, Nani went hammer and tongs against the Pawan mocking his futile exercise of making a mountain out of a molehill at Ippatam for political gains. He pointed out that the government had served notices and removed staircases of some houses at Ippatam as per law of the land for road widening.

However, Pawan forced some Ippatam villagers to misrepresent facts before courts. The reality has now been exposed, as the court had fined each litigant `1 lakh for misrepresenting facts and trying to cheat the court, Nani pointed out.

Senior leader of YSRC Medical Wing Dr Mehabub Sheik said however many conspiracies Naidu or Kalyan may hatch, the YSRC will invariably return to power in the forthcoming elections. He maintained that this is why Naidu has been informing people that 2024 will be his last election.
