KAMAREDDY: The ruling BRS has postponed its August 28 meeting at Bhikanoor in Kamareddy Assembly constituency to September first week. The party also shifted the venue to the constituency headquarters Kamareddy, from where Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will contest for the Assembly elections. Chief Minister’s daughter MLC Kalvkuntla Kavitha and Kamareddy MLA Gampa Govardhan will be the chief guests.

The decision of the deferment came after MLA Govardhan had expressed his unavailability for the meeting due to the marriage of his son. After BRS chief KCR announced the first list of 115 candidates for the Assembly polls, along with his candidature from Kamareddy and Gajwel segments, the party had scheduled its first rally in Kamareddy.
