Puducherry: BJP national president Amit Shah  left for Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu after a two-day visit to the Union Territory. Mr Shah held a series of meetings with party office bearers, industrialists and other influential sessions of the society before leaving Puducherry.

Mr Shah also a made a brief visit in the Auroville international city here on Tuesday. After going round the city, he meditated for about half-an-hour at Matri Mandir. The BJP president returned to Puducherry airport along with Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan and Party National Secretary H Raja left for Thiruvannamalai in a helicopter.
