Vijayawada: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday summoned a meeting of YSRC’s regional coordinators, MLAs, constituency in-charges and MLCs at his camp office in Tadepalli on Tuesday for reviewing the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam programme.

The CM asked them to hold mass contact programmes within their areas and propagate among people why AP needs Jagan Mohan Reddy again. He asked them to start contact the masses soon after the current session of the AP Legislative Assembly ends.

During the meeting, Jagan Mohan Reddy stated, “In the coming elections, it will not be possible to give tickets to some of the MLAs. But they will be suitably rewarded. Everyone should welcome my decisions with a big heart, as we are all members of one family,” he underlined.

The Chief Minister said there will be a world of difference between what they have done so far through programmes like Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam and what will be done in the next six months. “It is very important how we are going to work before elections,” he told those present.

He cautioned that there must be no lenience on part of MLAs and party members from now on. Everyone must work hard to make a clean sweep of the next elections. “Yes, why not 175? It is very much possible,” he remarked.

Jagan Mohan Reddy said they are evolving plans and strategies, which must be implemented perfectly. Party coordinators and regional observers will have to play key roles. The party must continue to remain accessible to people. Party cadre must also maintain unity.

The CM informed everyone at the meeting that in the next two months, there should be wide publicity with regard to the welfare and developmental programmes being implemented since past four years. He also asked party leaders and cadre to make Jagananna Aarogya Suraksha successful.

The Chief Minister asked MLAs to participate in the Aarogya Suraksha programme, which will begin on September 30 and runs for 45 days in five phases.
