Chennai: Speaker P. Dhanapal on Tuesday assured Leader of Opposition M.K. Stalin that the adjournment motion given by his party would taken up as and when the concerned gave its reply to it.
He was responding to Mr Stalin's query on the status of 34 adjournment motion notice given by his party members.
Mr Stalin said that his party has given 34 adjournment motion notices to raise issues including Centre's new education policy, mysterious death of AIIMS student Dr Saravanan, waiver of educational loan and loss of eye sight incident in Salem. “Since the Assembly session ends on September 2, two adjournment motions should be taken up every day to discuss all the issues,” he said.
