HYDERABAD: Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan, speaking at an election meeting in the presence of BJP president J.P. Nadda. said that Telangana can be developed only by a double engine government. He was campaigning for the Jana Sena’s Kukatpally candidate Prem Kumar.

Promising to bring 26 castes back into the fold of the Backward Classes communities, he said, “Castes belonging to the North Andhra which have been removed from the BC quota will be included again once the BJP and Jana Sena come to power. Though they originally hail from north Andhra they have made Telangana their home. This issue will be taken to the notice of the leaders in Delhi.”

He said the Jana Sena was formed in Hyderabad and was now contesting the November 30 elections in alliance with the BJP. There was a mild commotion with the party cadre trying to push the barricades and the police caning them to push them back.
