Khammam: CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday said that the Congress would form government by winning 78 seats in the Assembly elections. It would win all 10 seats in Khammam district, he said.

He was speaking at a programme to welcome to former minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, who came to Khammam for the first time after joining the Congress. The two leaders participated in a large rally and also participated in a programme at the district office here. They called for unity among the cadre and second-rung leaders.

The CLP leader said the Congress would implement the six guarantees announced by AICC former chief Sonia Gandhi within 100 days of forming government.

He said that was divided into two sections -- one trying to protect democracy and the other ganging up to exploit natural resources. He said it was up to the people to choose between the two.

Bhatti promised that the Congress if it came to power would return the Telangana politics government land to poor from whom it was taken away.
