Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy wanted to be TPCC chief

He said he was not able to do justice to the people being in the Congress and therefore, he took the decision to change the party.

Hyderabad: Congress MLA from Munugodu Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy said that he would join the BJP within 10 days. told mediapersons in Delhi on Tuesday that he had been invited to join the BJP by its TS unit president K. Laxman and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy and he had discussed the matter with BJP general secretary Ram Madhav twice.

He said he was not able to do justice to the people being in the Congress and therefore, he took the decision to change the party. He added that in Telangana state, the BJP was the only alternative to the TRS.  

He alleged that due to the mistakes committed by Telangana Congress affairs in-charge R.C. Khuntia, the party could not come to power. He said that in future, the BJP would become strong in Telangana state and the youth wanted a strong leadership.

Mr Rajagopal Reddy said if he had any financial problems, he would have joined the TRS when he was invited. He said he decided to join the BJP with a vision for the future. He said he had aspired for the post of TPCC chief, but would not stay with the party even if it is offered to him now.
