HYDERABAD: Ignoring a second notice served on him, state BJP president Bandi Sanjay did not appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Sunday. The SIT probing the TSPSC question paper leak had asked him to appear personally and submit evidence to substantiate his claims in the case.

Incidentally, Sanjay participated in several programmes along with Union home minister Amit Shah in Bidar district.

In his letter to SIT, the Lok Sabha member said that he did not trust the SIT as it was constituted by the state government.

‘I am busy with the ongoing Parliament session, but SIT preferred to send another notice’, he said. ‘I have no qualms with SIT refusal to understand the valid reasons for my inability to appear before you on decided dates, as I can surmise your compulsions’, he said in the letter.

The news of the TSPSC question paper leak, especially of the Group-1 paper, has shocked the collective conscience of the state. There has been a concerted effort to underplay the scam, he said.
