HYDERABAD: Describing BJP and TRS as ‘Narakasuras’, PCC chief A. Revanth Reddy said the voters of the Munugode constituency would teach them a lesson on polling day.

Campaigning in Samsthan Narayapur mandal along with party candidate Palvai Sravanthi, he said: “The two Narakasuras of TRS and BJP will be slaughtered in Munugode on November 3. Narakasura was killed on Diwali and God has given an opportunity to Munugode people to kill the Narakasuras of TRS and BJP,” he said.

Revanth Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had cheated the people by not delivering the development he had promised. Referring to minister K.T. Rama Rao, he said the “son of KCR” was making false promises.

Revanth Reddy recalled that the Congress gave Pavala Vaddi loans to self-help groups but Chandrashekar Rao had ruined them. “People made your father the CM twice, your sister an MLC, your cousin a minister. People gave your family four jobs, but you did nothing in Munugode” he told Rama Rao.

Stating that during Congress rule tribals were given their due, Revanth Reddy alleged that the TRS government was grabbing their land. “They are waiting like vultures to pounce on your land,” he said and added that the Congress’ Warangal Declaration had promised rights to the tribals.

Revanth Reddy alleged that Central police personnel were beating up Congress activists. “The sellout fools are attacking Congress cadre. Rajgopal Reddy, how dare you get the central forces to attack our youth? Let's settle this in the battlefield,” he told the BJP candidate.
