Hyderabad: Road and buildings minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was the only political leader fighting against the NDA-led BJP government at the Centre and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He was speaking at an event where 500 youths joined the BRS today from the Congress and the BJP in the Balkonda Assembly constituency. He said Chandrasekhar Rao was fighting against corruption in the BJP government at the Centre. People must analyse the BJP’s governance which had failed in providing any benefits.

"The Centre got Rs 3.7 lakh crore in the form of taxes from Telangana but it released only Rs 1.7 lakh crore to the state. The Centre allocates huge funds to states where the BJP is in power and is neglecting other states," Prashanth Reddy said.
