Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is all set to resume his campaign for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for the November 30 Assembly elections after the Dasara festival break, and will address public meetings at Achampet, Wanaparthy, and Munugode on October 26.

The next day, on October 27, he will address meetings in Paleru, Mahabubabad, and Wardhannapet, his office said on Tuesday.

Originally, the Chief Minister was scheduled to address a meeting in Nagarkurnool along with Achampet and Munugode on October 26, but the one at Nagarkurnool was dropped to accommodate Wanaparthy. Similarly, the original plan of addressing meetings on October 27 at Paleru and Station Ghanpur was changed as per his revised tour programme.

Rao, who has already addressed seven public meetings for the BRS between October 15 and 18, is scheduled to address at least 35 more before he files his nomination papers on November 9 from Gajwel, and then from Kamareddy.

However, according to senior BRS leaders, there was a possibility of adding more meetings for him to address. “He could address 100 meetings before the campaign comes to a halt on November 28. The date of polling is November 30,” they said.
