Bandi scoffs at KTR's legal notice

HYDERABAD: Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the BJP state president has scoffed at IT minister K.T. Rama Rao announcing that he sent legal notices to him in connection with the TSPSC question paper leak case. “There is no question of getting scared of such tactics. And the question of us letting go of our demand for sacking KTR from the state Cabinet does not arise. We will face anything thrown at us, including legal notices like the one sent by KTR. There are legal methods to deal with such issues,” Sanjay said in a late-night statement.

“We are not going back on our stand that Rama Rao, who claims he has nothing to do with the TSPSC, has no right to speak about the case. If he had no involvement in TSPSC’s functioning, why did he take part in a review of the case by the Chief Minister? How did he claim that only two employees were responsible for the leak and no one else was? And on what basis did he allege that I conspired to engineer the leaks?” Sanjay asked.

“It is unfortunate that Rama Rao has started the new trend to send legal notices to opposition party leaders when faced with questions from them. This is nothing but yet another attempt to throttle voices speaking on behalf of the people,” Sanjay said.
