Need judicial probe into Utkoor riots: BJP

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP floor leader G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday demanded that the State government order a judicial probe into the incidents of communal violence in Utkoor of Mahbubnagar district.

Addressing a press conference at the State BJP office here, Kishan Reddy  said several people have been booked under PD  Act. He informed that he has written a letter to chief secretary S.P. Singh demanding withdrawal of cases and action against the erring police officials.

He said that concerned SP and DSP made wrong representations before the district collector and arrested Utkoor's sarpanch.
