Hyderabad: The Congress’ Political Affairs Committee (PAC) is scheduled to meet on Sunday to plan its future strategy for the next 100 days and discuss the proposed bus yatra. The party has recently experienced a surge in strength due to several leaders joining from the BRS and the BJP at various levels.

The PAC meeting will be attended by important party figures, including the TPCC president, CLP leader, and other PAC members.

Recently, the party announced the formation of a campaign committee and Pradesh Election Committee, with PCC president A. Revanth Reddy and CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka among its members. These announcements were made in quick succession as the party gears up for the upcoming Assembly polls, which are less than six months away.

During the PAC meeting, discussions will involve new joinings to strengthen the party. Additionally, the current political situation will be addressed.

When asked about possible alliances with Left parties, TPCC working president Mahesh Kumar Goud stated that they had approached the Left during the Munugode polls, but they chose to align with the BRS. As of now, there have been no changes in the alliance plans.

Expressing his views on the matter, Manthani MLA D. Sridhar Babu mentioned that the finalisation of the bus yatra's plan might depend on the number of leaders attending the meeting, and he was unsure about everyone's attendance.
