VISAKHAPATNAM: CPM state secretary V. Srinivasa Rao on Friday questioned why YSRC, Telugu Desam and Jana Sena are afraid of BJP.

“The latest Manipur incident has finally caught the attention of the entire country. But the BJP government at the centre is mum. YSRC, Jana Sena and TD have not reacted at all on Manipur because these parties are scared of the BJP government at the centre,” the CPM leader underlined.

Addressing a press conference here, he observed that Pawan Kalyan keeps going to Delhi frequently and meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi regularly. After one of the Delhi visits, PK said PM Modi has promised him that the AP state will be looked after by the centre. This dialogue of Pawan Kalyan is nine months old.  “Now, the Jana Sena chief must tell people what funds the centre has released for AP,” Srinivasa Rao remarked.

He criticised the JS chief for not speaking about the privatisation of the steel plant, the establishment of a special railway zone, the construction of a tribal university, the development of Amaravati, the implementation of the Polavaram project, special funds for Uttarandhra and Rayalaseema regions, and release of Sujalasravanti funds.
