HYDERABAD: The BJP has said that it will lodge a complaint with the Bar Council on Telangana state’s additional advocate general J. Ramachandra Rao rushing to New Delhi to assist BRS MLC K. Kavitha who faced two rounds of questioning so far by the Enforcement Directorate.

State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said Rao had no business to be on hand in Kavitha’s case and this was an issue that shows how the BRS government is using everything at its disposal to save the BRS MLC even when it is fully aware that pressing a government servant for a private case was not allowed.

“There is no question of letting this go and we will complain to the Bar Council,” Sanjay said on Wednesday.
