Slew of BJP top brass to visit state: BJP

As counting progressed, as per the ECI, the BJP was leading in 137 of 230 seats, Congress on 57 seats while Gondvana Gantantra Party with two seats and Bahujan Samaj Party on one, at 10:28 am. Bharatiya Janata Party received 48.51 per cent votes while Congress 40.6 per cent votes. X.com

 Hyderabad: The BJP confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah will campaign in the state for three days each and BJP president J.P. Nadda on separate dates. Interestingly, Modi, Shah Nadda are scheduled to be in the state on November 25, according to the schedule released by BJP state secretary Gujjula Premender Reddy.

Modi will participate in six meetings on November 25, 26 and 27; Shah on November 24, 25 and 28 and Nadda will visit the state on November 23, 25, 26 and 27 and hold ten meetings.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will campaign on November 24, 25 and 26, Rajnath Singh on November 24 and 26, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for five days between November 22 and 27. Union minister Smriti Irani will also attend some public meetings.”

On Tuesday, Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Maharashtra deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will campaign in Telangana.

Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan will campaign in support of BJP candidates in Warangal on November 22 and join Amit Shah at a public meeting on November 26.

Elsewhere, BJP MP and OBC Morcha president Dr K. Laxman said while the manifesto of the BJP was directed towards creating job opportunities, other parties intended to keep the people dependent on freebies.

Speaking with the media, he said, “The Congress party has failed to keep its promises in Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka. The BJP’s slogan of Sabke Saath Sab Ka Vikas is intended to provide good governance.”
