K. Laxman, state president of the BJP, told the media recently that the TRS was unnecessarily tagging the issue of reservations to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes with Muslim reservations.

Adilabad: BJP state president K. Laxman on Sunday said that the TRS would  go the JD(S) way and support the Congress against the BJP after the 2019 elections. He described the fight between the TRS and the Congress as an eyewash, and said the TRS support to the the Congress-JD(S) alliance has exposed this.

He added said the BJP would fight the 2019 elections alone in the state.

He alleged that  the JD(S) and Congress did not allow their MLAs to vote as per their conscience (athma prabhodam) and instead confined them to hotels, not even allowing to them talk to their family members.

Dr Laxman reminded the people that both JD(S) and Congress had lost seats and a decline in numbers when compared to the last elections.
