BJP MLC Somu Veerraju lashes out at TDP

VIJAYAWADA: BJP MLC Somu Veerraju has lashed out at the TD, first during a TV debate on the Gujarat election results with TD MLC Rajendra Prasad and elsewhere on Tuesday.

Mr Veerraju stated that the BJP was not dependent on the TD; if the situation demanded, it would contest the elections alone. He said the BJP had a ready format along with a BC Chief Minister candidate.

Mr Veerraju accused the TD of non co-operation. He alleged that despite being a political ally, the BJP cadre did not enjoy a single benefit. On the contrary they were being blamed for the denial of special status, lack of funds and delay on the Polavaram dam.
