VIJAYAWADA: Leaders and cadres of YSR Congress blocked the road at Gudur on Machilipatnam-Vijayawada Highway on Saturday protesting against burning of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy cut-out.

The protestors held Jana Sena responsible for the incident. Traffic remained disrupted with YSRC demanding the arrest of JS leaders responsible for burning the cut-out.

The protestors called off their road blockade after police assured to take action as early as possible.

Senior leader of YSRC medical wing Dr. Mehboob Sheikh alleged that Jana Sena is trying to create unrest within the state to malign the ruling party.
