Bhavani Revanna's jibe at JD(S) MLA goes viral
It's not clear, however, from the video clip if Ms Bhavani asked the JD(S) men to work against Mr Mahesh in the constituency.
Hassan: They belong to same party and are from Saligrama in Mysuru district, but KR Nagar MLA, Sa Ra Mahesh and Bhavani Revanna, daughter-in-law of JD(S) supremo, H D Deve Gowda, clearly don’t see eye to eye. In a minute long video clip that has recently surfaced, Ms Bhavani is seen telling party workers that Mr Mahesh and his son’s “atrocities” have become intolerable.
The video also shows party workers from Saligrama village complaining to Ms Bhavani in her home in Holenarispur, Hassan about being mistreated by Mr Mahesh, Ms Bhavani responds by speaking of the “MLA and his son’s” “atrocities’ and says she is afraid that if he became Minister, he could suppress hundreds of people. She then promises to protect loyal party men in K R Nagar.
It’s not clear, however, from the video clip if Ms Bhavani asked the JD(S) men to work against Mr Mahesh in the constituency. ,A couple of months ago, Mr Mahesh’s son and his friends were seen beating a youth in a video clip that went viral.
Interestingly, Mr Mahesh claimed later that Ms Bhavani was referring to the Congress candidate for K R Nagar, Ravishankar and his father, Doddaswamy Gowda and not him and his son in the video.
