HYDERABAD: Karimnagar collector Sarfaraz Ahmed met chief secretary S.K. Joshi on Monday at BRK Bhavan in connection with the leaked audio clip containing conversation between the collector and BJP MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar with regard to an election affidavit involving BC welfare minister G. Kamalakar.

A dispute over the election affidavit has been going on between the minister and the MP for a long time.

The leaked clip contained audio of minister Kamalakar alleging that Karimnagar collector Sarfaraz and MP Bandi Sanjay had conspired against him.

The collector informed the chief secretary that the original conversation between him and the MP was of about eight minutes. Some unscrupulous elements have edited and made it viral on social media with ill intentions. He also submitted to the CS the original audio clip of the conversation in a pen drive.
