Vizag TD leaders protest against Naidu's arrest

Visakhapatnam: Leaders and cadres of the Telugu Desam Visakhapatnam district unit staged a protest against party chief Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest on Wednesday. During the protest, they lashed out at Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.

District TD women’s president Sarvasiddhi Anantalakshmi said, “How long will the CM continue to cheat people? He should be ashamed of lying and deceiving the people of the state. Many people are dying due to a lack of roads in the state.”

On the knife attack case, TD state secretary Lodagala Krishna said, “The NIA was established for the security of the country, but the CM is misusing and misleading it. He is a victim in the knife attack case, yet he has not given his statement till now. Why is the CM not cooperating in the investigation?”

TD state Christian Cell president Swamidasu and Parliament Christian Cell president Urukuti David stated that Jagan Mohan Reddy was mum when violence against the pastor was taking place in Andhra Pradesh. Recently, Pastor Kripanandam was injured in the evangelism in LN Peta of Srikakulam. He was admitted to the KGH for treatment, he added. David demanded that the attackers be punished.
