BJYM: KCR enslaves, BJP liberates

HYDERABAD: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) initiated a campaign titled ‘KCR enslaves — BJP liberates’ during the Praja Sangrama Yatra of BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar. The poster of the campaign shows Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao purportedly shackling the people and the BJP setting them free, and features two activists in handcuffs.

To inaugurate the campaign, Sanjay symbolically unshackled the activists during his padayatra at Malkajgiri. BJYM national treasurer P.M. Sai Prasad initiated the programme, the party said. BJYM leaders alleged that during the TRS during its eight years in power and snatched the liberty of the people.

The state was in the “clutches of dictatorial rule” of Chandrasekhar Rao, they alleged. No section of people was able to raise its voice, they added. BJYM leaders said that only the BJP government will bring freedom to the people of Telangana.
