HYDERABAD: Union tourism minister G. Kishan Reddy said that the TRS leadership was in a state of frustration after surveys revealed that it was facing defeat in the Assembly elections. The misrule of TRS government has destroyed the pride of Telangana, he said.

He condemned the attack on the residence of BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind by TRS activists, after seeing the damage for himself.

Speaking to reporters, he said that minister K.T. Rama Rao was arrogant in his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Neither the BJP nor Modi had ever criticised political opponents personally, he said.  BJP cadre works on ideological basis and not for personal gains as is done by TRS leaders and cadre, he said.

“We achieved Telangana state with sacrifices and struggle, but the Kalvakuntla family has spoiled the spirit of Telangana state”, he said.

Reddy said that BJP is ready to face elections any time. There is no need to dethrone the TRS government or admit its MLAs into the BJP fold. They will be voted out mercilessly, he said.
