Karimnagar: Minister K.T. Rama Rao on Wednesday said that the BRS government will cleanse the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) and release a job calendar for filling all posts which are lying vacant in various departments, after the Assembly elections.

Participating in the Praja Ashirvada Sabha organised under the leadership of BC welfare minister Gangula Kamalakar in Karimnagar, Rama Rao said people should not commit mistakes and drive the future generations into the dark like those of our elders, who merged Telangana region and Andhra Pradesh in the past and faced a lot of problems. “They must think wisely and must elect BRS candidates,” the TRS working president said.

“If people will vote for BJP and Congress candidates, then that vote and power will go to Delhi leaders and if they vote for BRS candidates then it will make KCR, the Chief Minister for the third time who is treating the people of Telangana state like an elder member in the family,” he appealed.

Referring to Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar, Rama Rao alleged that BJP and Congress do not have guts to contest from Karimnagar Assembly segment.

“While one leader was in a dilemma whether to contest from LB Nagar or Vemulawada, the other leader ran away to Husnabad,” he observed.

“After becoming MP, Sanjay Kumar did nothing for the people of Karimnagar. Sanjay Kumar did not bring one school or medical college or IIIT to Karimnagar and not even established a temple. Apart from that he is questioning about development that took place in Karimnagar.”

“The development means establishment of schools, colleges, supplying of water for drinking and irrigation, and construction of temples, churches and masjids which was done in the nine and a half years of ruling of the BRS government.” Rama Rao explained, and added that digging of masjids and creating disputes among people in the name of religions and communities was not called development.

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao never did politics in the name of religion and community. All sections of people lived peacefully under the BRS government. Chandrashekhar Rao always said that he is a Hindu and even performed pujas like Chandi Yagam unlike Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Before going to elections, Modi appealed to the people to open Jan Dan bank accounts and promised them that he would deposit Rs.15 lakh into their bank accounts. But after coming to power, he deceived the people. Why should people vote for the BJP government which has done nothing for the Telangana state,” he asked.

Speaking on the death of Pravallika, Rama Rao said some leaders are doing cheap politics on this issue. “Her parents had met me in Hyderabad. I assured them of help on the behalf of the BRS government and also promised a government job for her brother,” he said.

“People should think to whom they want to give power. Chief Minister KCR who fought for Telangana people and was striving hard for welfare of all sections of people is one side, and on the other hand, BJP chief G. Kishan Reddy who escaped to America during the separate Telangana movement and TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy who was caught in the Vote for Note case,” Rama Rao said.
