Bengaluru: Stung by his criticism of his style of functioning, KPCC president Dr G. Parameshwar has reportedly decided to issue notice to  senior leader A.H. Vishwanath.

The notice would not ask the former Mysuru MP why he was attacking Dr Parameshwar, but about his comments on AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi, according to party sources. “This is  PCC’s strategy to silence him,” said a senior party leader. Party general secretary and MLC, N.S. Boseraju confirmed that the issue was  raised in  party circles, but said he was not sure whether a notice was being issued to Mr Vishwanath or not as he was away touring the districts. Mr Vishwanath said he had not received any notice from the party so far. “I cannot comment unless I receive it. They may not want seniors in the party if they begin taking action against them,” he added.
