KAKINADA: Municipal administration minister Adimulapu Suresh has described the Telugu Desam-Jana Sena alliance as that of a “pack of wolves” that is not to be believed.

Addressing people after distributing AP TIDCO houses to beneficiaries on Friday, he underlined that Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu had never fulfilled any of his promises during his political career.

He pointed out that in the 2014 elections, Chandrababu had promised youth jobs. But when he did not fulfill this promise, the youth defeated the Telugu Desam in 2019.

Suresh pointed out that even while promising to skill the youth for jobs, he went on to loot money through the AP Skill Development Corporation scam, doing injustice to the youth.

He questioned the integrity of Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan for joining hands with a cheat who had backstabbed NTR in politics.

The minister maintained Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is providing a transparent, accountable, and corruption-free efficient administration and working for the development and welfare of people in the state. He pointed out that thanks to the CM, 1,152 flats have been distributed to beneficiaries at Parlopeta in Kakinada.

Kakinada MP Vanga Githa said beneficiaries need not reside in rented houses, as they now have their own houses.

AP TIDCO managing director Chitturi Sridhar said 80,000 of the 2.62 lakh flats have been distributed to beneficiaries in the state so far.

District collector Kritika Shukla said 7,288 flats within the TIDCO project have been allotted to women in the district.

Kakinada Rural MLA Kannababu said that every housing colony has become a village in the state. Kakinada MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy and MLC Karri Padma Sri were among those who handed over registration documents to the housing beneficiaries.
