Lokesh's family joins Padayatra on 100th day

 Kurnool: Telugu Desam General Secretary Nara Lokesh completed his 100-day Yuvagalam padayatra in Nandyal district on Monday, accompanied by his family members.

The walk concluded with a gathering at Santha Juturu, where Lokesh's mother Nara Bhuvaneswari, Nandamuri family members Lokeswari, Haimavathi, Nandamuri Jayashree, Nandamuri Devan, Nandamuri Mani, CH Sriman, and Indira joined him for a stretch after lunch.

During the padayatra from Boyarevula camp site, Lokesh connected with many people and learned about their problems.

Party chief Chandrababu Naidu congratulated Lokesh in a tweet, saying, "The experience of padayatra will go a long way in understanding the problems of the people and finding ways to solve them. This helped Lokesh to reach out to the people. There are more miles to go." He also shared a photo of Lokesh with youth and students.

Telangana TDP president Kasani Gnaneshwar, senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar, women's wing president Shakeela Reddy and youth wing president Pogaku Jairam greeted Lokesh at the camp site in Nandyal.

Lokesh participated in an interactive meeting with representatives of the Chenchu community in Santha Juturu. The Chenchus have special forest rights, Lokesh noted and added that no one has the right to take away these rights. As soon as the TDP comes to power, they will be granted the right to access the forest freely,” he said.

Lokesh also promised that the TDP would strive to provide essential infrastructure facilities, such as pucca houses, roads, drinking water, and drainage in Chenchu habitations. Additionally, all the welfare programmes provided through ITDA shall be handed over to the Chenchus,” he said.
