Chennai: Kanimozhi, TR Baalu air-dash to Delhi

Chennai: DMK Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi who took the early evening flight to Thoothukudi to take up the poll work as she would contest from the Thoothukudi Lok Sabha constituency, did not come out of the airport there. She cancelled her visit and air-dashed to New Delhi.

She waited in the airport and took the same flight back to Chennai and from the airport itself she boarded a jet flight later in the evening to Delhi. Party senior T. R. Baalu also air-dashed to the national capital by Air India flight in the evening.

Sources said both would be participating in the all-party meeting convened by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consider the extraordinary situation arising out of the terror attack in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.
