Asifabad: Former MLA Kova Laxmi of TRS who lost the election with 176 votes to Congress candidate Atram Sakku in the recent concluded election from Asifabad is aspiring for a Adilabad MP ticket.
The Adilabad ticket is reserved for STs. Kova Laxmi, the daughter of former late Kotnak Bheem Rao who was popular among tribal and non-tribals is the right person to contest. Sitting MP Godam Nagesh is again trying for a ticket since he was denied MLA ticket.
