In Chhattisgarh, the manifesto of the challenger Congress Party promises farm loan waivers and rice at Rs 1 per kilo.

Hyderabad: The minority leaders of the Congress are disappointed at not getting tickets and have threatened to quit from the election campaigning if they are ignored in ticket allotment.

The Congress nominated only four Muslim candidates from Kamareddy, Nampally, Charminar and Chandrayangutta out of 75 candidates announced so far.

There are chances of fielding Muslim candidates from Karwan and Bahadurpura only. The Malakpet seat has been given to the TD, while no party of the Mahakutami will field their candidates from Yakutpura, from where MBT president Majeedullah Khan Farhat may contest.

Minority leaders on Wednesday held a meet and expressed anguish over the attitude of the leadership. They said that as usual the party this time too had neglected the Muslims.
