BJP Parkal bike rally today to mark Hyderabad's Liberation Day celebrations
HYDERABAD: Telangana BJP president G. Kishan Reddy will on Friday lead a motorcycle rally from the Parade Ground in Secunderabad to Amara Dhamam near Parkal, to be followed by a public meeting there, the party said on Thursday. The event is in the run-up to the September 17 Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations being organised by the Union culture ministry at Parade Ground, which will be attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Meanwhile, Kishan Reddy speaking with reporters, on the arrest of former AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development scam case, said “When a former chief minister is to be arrested, they should have first had a word with him on the issue and observed some decorum and not indulge in vendetta.”
He also declared there was no question of the BJP ever joining hands with Congress or the BRS, both of which are known allies of the AIMIM. He dismissed as rumours being spread by mischief makers a purported list of 11 BJP candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections.
That is fake, he said, adding that the elections will be held as per schedule in Telangana. He also said, “The Centre has not taken any decision on simultaneous polls and there is no such proposal.”
