Vijayawada: Former minister and YSR Congress leader Perni Venkataramaiah alias Nani on Wednesday demanded that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan remove the veil over his party entering into a poll alliance with Telugu Desam.

“YSRC is ready to face the alliance of JS, TD and all other parties,” MLA Nani declared addressing media in the assembly premises on Wednesday.

He pointed out that in the Machilipatnam public meeting, Pawan Kalyan's words clearly indicated that he is snapping his ties with BJP. “But he is afraid to say this clearly owing to fear. Hence, he has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, home minister Amit Shah, BJP chief J.P. Nadda and several other saffron leaders as Good Samaritans,” Nani remarked.

The MLA said many times, Pawan Kalyan has claimed about shunning caste. “But in his Machilipatnam speech, Pawan mentioned Kapu caste 127 times, Kammas 14 times, Reddys 22 times, Relli 21 times, Madigas 17 times, Muslims 13 times and Noorbashas seven times. This shows the caste politics of Pawan,” he remarked.

Nani said people of Andhra had got vexed with Naidu’s corrupt government. Hence, they gave their mandate to Jagan. “There will be no second chance for Chandrababu-Pawan combination in the future,” he declared.
