HYDERABAD: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) took out a massive 'victory rally' in Munugode Assembly constituency on Monday to mark newly elected MLA Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy’s visit to the constituency for the first time after taking oath as the member of Legislative Assembly.

He had defeated BJP's Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy with a margin of over 10,000 votes in the bypoll held on November 3.

The rally was held in Chandur, the headquarters of Munugode Assembly constituency. It saw the participation of a large number of people and TRS
workers from all the seven mandals in the constituency.

Thanking Munugode people for electing him as MLA in 2014 Assembly polls and now, Reddy promised to fulfill all the promises made for the development of the constituency in the next 14 months.

He said that TRS working president and IT minister K.T. Rama Rao was honouring his electoral promise by adopting the constituency. He said he was confident of its all-round development.

Prabhakar Reddy informed people that Rama Rao will lead a team of six ministers to Munugode in a day or two to devise an action plan for the development of the constituency, complete pending works and put all development programmes on fast-track.

He stated that Rama Rao will visit the constituency once in three months to personally monitor the progress of development works along with local minister G. Jagadish Reddy.
