Gaddam Prasad Files Nomination For Assembly Speaker Post

Hyderabad: Vikarabad MLA Gaddam Prasad filed his nomination for appointment as Speaker of Telangana Legislative Assembly, in the presence of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao.
Hailing from a Dalit family, Gaddam Prasad had served as a minister in the Cabinets of former chief ministers Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Later, he faced defeat in two consecutive terms-2014 and 2018.
